After we graduated from the training program, I continued to implement everything I learned for a time, but after a while, I started to slide. However, homework also creates stress for students and parents, and reduces the amount of time that students can spend in other activities.

Homework research dates back to the early 1900s. However, no consensus exists on the general effectiveness on homework. Results of homework studies vary based on multiple factors, such as the age group of those studied and the measure of academic performance.

• A recommendation under the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) Manual of Standards MOS 139 – Aerodromes, Aerodrome Reporting Officers (ARO) is that all ARO’s complete recurrency training every two years or earlier if there has been a change in procedure. Refresher Training is also required when a person has not performed any of their assigned tasks for a significant period of time.
